Chain Fee Generation
Daily Fee Generation – Since the start of January, fees rebounded across chains after the late-December lull: Tron’s fees moved back above ~$1.1M before cooling toward ~$1.0M, Solana’s fees surged to around ~$1.0M then eased into the mid-~$0.8M range, and Ethereum’s fees climbed to roughly ~$0.6M before settling nearer ~$0.4M.

Hourly Average Cost to Transfer ETH (21,000 Gas)

Blob Gas Usage – After a Dec surge to ~0.9M, usage slipped into ~0.5–0.6M over the holidays, with only brief spikes toward ~0.8M. Since Jan 3, usage has rebounded to around ~0.7M, with the move coinciding with BPO2 going live and lifting blob capacity (target 14, max 21).

Beacon Chain Balance
Beacon Chain - Over the past week, the balance drifted marginally lower from around ~36.05M ETH to roughly ~36.0M ETH. Despite Grayscale’s ETH staking rollout this week, there’s no clear change in the balance.
